Are you looking to convert your big bulky file cabinets to digital format?

As we move into the digital age, more and more medical offices and businesses of all kinds are having all of their documents, invoices, books etc scanned onto CD and hard drive to get the competitive edge.

Why are so many business making this move?

Document Management Scotland

With office space at a premium and the cost of storage growing, many many businesses are looking for ways to upgrade their information management methods and increasing cost efficiency.

Over the years, paperwork spills out and becomes a disorganized mess. Larger businesses must purchase dozens of file cabinets to have enough room to store all of these files, and eventually potential office space is eaten up with bulky cabinets and unattractive metal bins.

Should a fire occur, all of this important paperwork is then lost forever. Using our password protected discs for record or document storage also help medical practices meet current federal requirements and helps safeguard and streamline the information for any modern business.

Other benefits from digital data storage.

Easy access to all your documents provides a significant savings in time and money. Our team will work with you on what indexing format would work the best with your business.

Companies who convert their documents to a digital format are better able to find the right information at the right time increasing employee’s ability to work faster, be more productive and make better decisions. The average file cabinet costs about $120 and with a growing clientele for any business, many businesses are forced to invest in remote storage facilities to house all of the data. Using digital storage also cuts down on the amount of paper and thus trees that are used and so as an industry saves tens of thousands of trees each year.

Another very important fact is that with all your documents stored efficiently and inexpensively electronically, all your files will be centrally located and you won’t need to worry about things like accidents like fire, water, theft, general wear and tear from destroying them.

Instead of investing in a new bigger office  or uprooting your business altogether, in many cases doing away with all your bulky file cabinets is really all the moving that you will need to do.

The ease with which you will now be able to distribute your data through use of email will make job productivity much much higher.

Recovering lost information is another added benefit. Sometimes the files that you thought you had lost will show up at once, when the project is complete and you do a key word search.
